A trip to the Station!
A few weeks ago a friend of mine (who just happens to be a fireman) asked if I would like to bring the boys down for a tour of the station. Today we finally made it and the boys had a blast!!!
So, I finally did it! Boo hooo hoooo!!!
So finally at two years, seven months, one week old Evan gets his first hair cut! He was very excited about it, but I was nearly having a panic attack! My little baby is not a little baby anymore. I know it is silly, but the baby hair that he took sooooooo long to grow was very hard to get rid of...but I did it. ~sigh~
I must admit that he does look super cute with it cut!!

Big Announcement!
Avery started walking yesterday...before 14 months old! Now I am in BIG trouble! I will do my best to get some pictures of the miraculous event!! My kids seem to be getting nicer as the years go by. Bradyn started walking at 9.5 months and Evan was 11.5 months. My sweet little Avery was kind enough to put it off until he knew I was mentally prepared for it. Let the bumps, bangs and bruises commence!!

100th post, and nothing to say!!
Well, again there has been a lapse in blogging lately. With the beautiful weather we have been having, just about every minute has been spent outside. Not a whole lot new here. The boys are getting bigger by the minute and there never seems to be a shortage of energy. (for them that is...I always seem to be running short.)
Avery's snotty nose is back. Since the beginning of winter he has only had maybe a few weeks of no boogers. He finished a course of antibiotics a few weeks ago for a suspected sinus infection, and it did the trick...for about 10 days. So now I have started a trial of antihistamines to see if what he has now is spring allergies. It seems like it is working, as long as I give him a dose every 4-6 hours.
Bradyn is excelling in his soccer. For the first few weeks we weren't sure! It is amazing how fast 4 yr olds pick up on things! His whole team has improved leaps and bounds and instead of it looking like total chaos, it now looks like an organized soccer match!
Evan is well into his terrible two's so everything with him is a little challenging. He is very insistent that things be done his way and on his schedule, so needless to say there are quite a few battles through the day. He is also very loud. Everything he says is a yell, screech or scream it seems. He also feeds off Bradyn's energy, so that keeps me on my toes! He is still soft, kind and gentle when he feels like it and is my little snugly bug. He is the only one that will come up for a kiss and a hug and just relax for a few minutes to snuggle with me. I absolutely love it!!
Avery is following in his brother's footsteps with the overflowing energy reserves. He can't sit still for two seconds and wouldn't be caught dead snuggling...totally reminds me of Bradyn at his age (and now). He is sooooo close to walking but he is stubborn and refuses. He has walked across the living room, and when he thinks no one is watching he will let go and walk between furniture. Cheeky little monkey!!
Dan and I are doing good..work home work home...same ol' same ol'. I am enjoying being back at work. It is a nice break for me and some time to socialize with adults. Dan is loving his job too. He has been working on some pretty big deals and it looks like it is going to be a record year for him. Maybe if this keeps up we can be relatively debt free by the end of the year...wouldn't that be nice!
Well, I must go tend to my flock. I hope this post finds everyone happy, healthy and enjoying the beautiful weather! Bye for now!

Evan's new best friend...
Seriously this kid can not be mine! For all you who don't know, I have a fear of bugs, and the june bug takes the cake. Literally I see one and I run...The whole sticking in your hair and on your clothes thing icks me out! Anyway, he insisted on carrying it around and taking it...sorry "her", on the swing. (It was actually kind of cute listening to him speak softly to her, and telling her that he loves her) Finally grandma (who also has a royal hate-on for the insect) got a good idea and took him for a walk to the store (june bug in tow) and bought him a bug hut thing. So now she has her own safe home and they are best friends. Sick.
