So the months have just flown by! I will try to sum up the events in a nutshell.
At the end of April, (as everyone already knows I am sure) we were taken to Mexico by Dan's boss. Despite all the chaos in Canada about the swine flu, things there were amazing. It was a much needed mental and physical break after being in the trailer all winter! : )
We arrived back in the Kootenays and immediately relocated from the trailer into a house right in town, only a few blocks from Dan's work, and a few blocks from the park! My hopes were very high for a wonderful active summer! Then, about a week after we moved in, I slipped on a little hill outside our house and did a number on my ankle. I was put in a cast and given crutches, which I stayed on for a month, then I was allowed to walk on it...another five and a bit weeks went by and ta-da!!Nine and a half weeks, all said and done, here I am, day 2 without a cast! Now comes the fun part of trying to get my ankle and foot to work again!
The kids are all great! Bradyn is getting taller and leaner by the day, and Evan is quickly catching up! Avery starts intense speech therapy next week, and we are hoping it helps! His speech is getting better, and he is now speaking in full sentences, but his pronunciation is not great as he tends to leave out any air flow sounds (like ffff, shhhh, thhh), and drops the end sounds of words. Addie is now crawling and pulling herself up on everything and anything! She is such a happy baby, but still is a mommy's girl. Most of the time I love it because the boys were never like that, but sometimes it would be great to hand her off when she is fussy and let someone else settle her. Dan is doing great and is loving being a manager more and more every day. That's about it! I will add pictures soon!
Main Entry: pos·se Pronunciation: 'pä-sE Function: noun 1 : a large group often with a common interest 2 : a body of persons summoned by a sheriff to assist in preserving the public peace usually in an emergency

Happy 3rd Birthday Avery!!
So my baby boy is 3!! Where has the time gone?
Dan took the day off and we went into town for lunch, then we had pizza and ice cream cake for desert. All in all it was a fabulous family day! I will add more pictures of our festivities later once Dan has reformatted them.
Bradyn and Evan had a great time helping Avery with his gifts!

Updates and Addie pictures!
Here are a few more pictures of Addie. I can't believe that in one week she will be 5 months old! Where has the time gone??? I hope to have some success getting some recent pictures of the boys in the next couple of days. They never sit still long enough to get any decent pictures! As soon as I do, I will be sure to post them.
As for updates, there aren't too many. Bradyn has settled into school and is doing great academically, and socially. He still has a wee bit too much energy and tends to get into trouble for not sitting still.
Evan is a little smarty pants and I am sure he will excel in kindergarten in the fall. He can count to 100 and knows almost all his alphabet by sight and knows most of their sounds. I am sure he will be reading soon.
Avery is growing like a weed and is hopefully going to start up with speech therapy again come the end of March. He is also a smart boy and knows that he doesn't HAVE to say things properly to be understood. He is now doing four and five word sentences so we are very happy about that.
We went back to Penticton for the weekend at the beginning of the month and we had Addie weighted and measured. At four month she weighted in at 11 lbs 15 oz and was 24.5" long. The doctor is happy with her progress and says she doesn't need to be seen again until 6 months old. She is a very happy little girl and sleeps very well for the most part. Up until last week she was sleeping through the night until about 5 or 6 in the morning...then she got sick, and was waking up in the middle of the night with a stuffed nose and cough. Now she is better, but is still waking up at 1 or 2 in the morning and insists on spending the rest of the night in bed with us. Ugggg...this is going to stop asap!! I need my sleep!
Work is going well for Dan and I am doing surprisingly well cooped up in our teensie weensie home! I am looking forward to spring when the snow pants and boots and mitts can go away for a while! Less clutter = more sanity for me.
Well, that's about it for now!
