Last night Bradyn woke up at about quarter to twelve in hysterics. His throat was sore and he was wheezing and coughing like crazy. Croup...uggg. Because Evan had it only a few months ago, I knew exactly what to do, so coat on and out the the van for a nice midnight trip to the emerg. After some nebulizers and an oral steroid medicine we were good to go. By the time we got home Bradyn had caught a second wind and ran in yelling " Daddy, Daddy, I got my breath back!! Listen to me breathe". It was very cute. The medicine is supposed to work for 12 to 24 hours so hopefully it won't come back tonight. I would LOVE a full night sleep...alas, maybe someday!

I know that face well :( Neela has had many a nebulizer - good for you for acting quickly and not messing around - now hopefully it kicked it out of him and he can have a better night tonight.
Isn't being a mom fun! I had Ezra in the emerg Sunday night but it was just for a really bad rash which turned out to be eczema! Yuck!
