Yesterday Avery had his 8 month check-up. His weight is up to 17 lbs, 10 oz, and is 27.5" long. This is good progress. His weight is up to about the 25th-30th percentile, and his length is up to the 50th. Next month we go to see the peditrician for a follow up visit, and I think she will be pleased. Avery has started to be quite the little explorer. Hiding under the table, or sneaking out into the kitchen.The minute you put him on the floor he starts locomoting via a strange worm style body drag where he pushes off with his feet and pulls with his arms. This might sound inefficient but he is getting fast! You turn your back for a second and he is gone! And I thought my life was busy before!!!!

such good news to hear how Avery is progressing. I must say how cute Avery is he has a beautiful face. I wish I could be closer to get to know him more. Sylv.
